Refund policy

This Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds work for purchases made from IAG Performance ("IAG," "we," "us," or "our") at iagperformance.com. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Return eligibility

Stocking products may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to approval. To be eligible for return, items must be:

  • Unused and in resalable condition
  • In original packaging with all included components, hardware, and documentation
  • Free from installation, modification, or damage caused by the customer

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

2. Non-returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Engines and engine orders
  • Special-order and made-to-order items
  • Electrical components, including the COBB Accessport
  • Products that have been installed, used, or modified
  • Items returned after the 30-day return period without prior approval

Some products may need to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection before a return or exchange can be processed.

3. Inspection and reporting deadlines

  • Missing items: You have 14 days from delivery to inspect your shipment and report missing items. After 14 days, IAG is no longer responsible for missing items.
  • Damaged or incorrect items: You have 30 days from delivery to report damaged or incorrect items. After 30 days, IAG is no longer responsible for returns or exchanges related to shipment condition or order accuracy.

If your package arrives damaged, notify the delivery driver at the time of delivery and file a claim with the carrier.

4. How to request a return (RMA required)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before any item is shipped back to IAG or a manufacturer. Items returned without an RMA may be refused.

To obtain an RMA:

Do not ship products back until you receive your RMA number and return instructions.

5. Return shipping costs

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning products for return, exchange, warranty evaluation, repair, or replacement.

  • Use a trackable shipping method and retain your receipt.
  • IAG is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit on the return shipment.
  • If your original order qualified for free shipping, the cost of outbound shipping is deducted from your refund.

6. Order cancellations

Cancellation requests are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.

Engine orders are final and cannot be cancelled.

7. Engine orders

Engine orders are final. No cancellations or returns are offered on engine purchases.

8. Refunds

8.1 Processing time

Refunds are processed within 30 days or less after we receive and inspect returned merchandise and approve the return.

8.2 Refund method

  • Credit card, Affirm, and PayPal payments are refunded to the original payment method.
  • Cash purchases are refunded by business check. Cash refunds are not offered.

8.3 Restocking and shipping deductions

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If the original order qualified for free shipping, outbound shipping costs are deducted from the refund amount.

8.4 Refund approval

Refund decisions are made by IAG management and are not guaranteed by sales staff during the ordering process.

9. Exchanges

Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis and require an RMA. Contact us before shipping any product. Non-returnable items listed above are not eligible for exchange.

10. Lost packages

If a carrier confirms a package is lost, IAG will provide a replacement — not a refund — pending approval of the carrier claim.

11. Services and appointments

  • Cancelled service appointments with deposits are non-refundable.
  • Tuning deposits are non-refundable.

12. Pricing errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect application information, IAG reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order — even if the order was confirmed or your payment method was charged. If payment was processed, a credit will be issued to your original payment method.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Your purchase is governed by the policy in effect at the time of your order, unless otherwise required by law.
