IAG Competition Series Transmission Shift Finger with Spring Pin for 04-21 Subaru STI

The Subaru STI six speed transmission is reknowned for it's strength, but it's not bulletproof. One common point of failure is the OEM shift finger. This small piece can cause big problems when it breaks. The IAG Shift Finger is designed to be significantly stronger than the OEM unit. By adding additional support to the finger and utilizing specialized tool steel this unit is designed to provide years of trouble-free operation.

This part is constructed of A2 tool steel. AISI A2 Tool Steel is an air-hardening grade of steel that contains 5% chromium. A2 is noted for its toughness and exceptional dimensional stability in heat treatment. These characteristics make it a versatile tool steel which is perfect for this application.

The IAG Shift Finger is designed to fit perfectly inside the OEM STI 6 speed transmission. The included FHI spring pin fits perfectly and allows installation without any internal transmission modifications.
