Many enthusiasts seek this short block as a cost-effective OEM plus style upgrade due to its strengthened piston design over earlier EJ25 STI offerings.
We put together a build package that many enthusiasts can utilize when replacing their original EJ25 short block with a Type RA. We start with a brand new Type RA short block directly from Subaru. Then we add an OEM engine gasket set featuring every gasket, o-ring, and seal required for installation. It’s so comprehensive you will have some items left over. Finally, we include a complete ARP 11mm head stud set, perfect for stock or OEM plus builds that will see performance modifications and additional boost.
